With immense optimism, our late founder Shri. Subhash Kotasthane built this company from humble beginnings. A rubber technologist with more than 50 years in the rubber industry, he nurtured the company not as much as a business but more as his dream. With his strong technical and people skills, he developed a dedicated team and acquired an esteemed customer base across industry sectors and geographies. An avid believer in giving back to society and to this industry, he mentored students, sponsored their education, designed learning & skill upgradation programs for the Pune rubber industry and was instrumental in forming the Pune Chapter of AIRIA (All India Rubber Industries Association). In 2014, he was the recipient of the ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’ from AIRIA.
Today, the company is being led by his daughters and their capable team members.

Prajakta charted her path and education always knowing that she would join the family business. Equipped with a Bachelor’s Degree in Polymer Engineering and an M.S. degree in Materials Science & Engg, she has worked in various roles at Shriram Rubber – Quality, Lab Testing, R/c development and Marketing. Today, Prajakta is responsible for the overall strategy, growth and people management. Her independent streak led her to get outside work experience in global organizations as well. Prajakta likes travelling to new places and reading on varied topics, and she enjoys spending time with her nephews.

Priya has a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and a Master’s Degree in Computer Applications. After her post-graduation, she completed a brief stint at Cognizant, a leading IT company. Priya is primarily responsible for our Quality Systems, Business Development, HR & Administration. Priya is fond of traveling, reading, public speaking & inculcates this habit in her son as well. An avid animal lover, she loves spending her free time at home with her dog.

Preeti Gopal is based in Munich,  Germany. With a 15 year corporate career in global companies in Supply Chain Management across various roles, Preeti now works as a Life Coach with business leaders.  Preeti played a crucial role in launching Shriram Rubber’s exports to Germany and building relations with our customers.

Sanjay joined our organization in 1986 as a trainee, and is today the CEO through his hard work, commitment and a deep understanding of the business. Coming from a Commerce educational background, Sanjay is primarily responsible for Finance, Accounting and General Administration; although compartmentalizing him to only these roles will undermine his contribution to our company. A calm individual with an exceptional work ethic, Sanjay enjoys reading spiritual books.
